many ways to try or Start Scuba diving
Diving is an amazing activity. You can ask any divers and they will have tons of great things to say about it. But it is true that it can be a scary at first and might not be for everyone but without trying it, there is no way to tell. There is no need to be a great swimmer, if you know how to swim to be confident being in water in general, there is no reason to not get started earning a certification or to at least give it a try. So what is the best way to get started?
At Lotus Diving we offer several options to get started and take your first breath underwater. We have programs that get you in our specifically built and designed pool but also for those who are already confident, straight to the ocean to the best dive sites.
Try Dive Program in the pool
The first program meant to be an quick and safe introduction to diving is the Try Dive. It is designed to get you in the pool experiencing what is scuba diving as fast as possible. In this case fast does not mean careless but diving is quite simple. With just a small briefing it is possible to already experience how it feel to be underwater. From there it is possible to upgrade to more complete programs such as Try Scuba Diving or Basic Diver.

Try Scuba Diving and Basic Diver Programs
Confident enough? The Try Scuba Diving program will take you straight to the ocean on the best dive sites. The same that other certified and experienced divers are going to. The difference is that you will be at all time under the direct supervision of an instructor and limited to a depth of 12 meters. This leaves plenty to see and be amazed by.
The Basic Diver program is limited in the same way but it has the difference of being in 3 parts, some theory, skills in the pool and at least one dive in the ocean. It is the very first course that has recognition but does not equate a full diver certification like the Open Water Diver course.

The Open Water Diver Course
The Open Water course is not a program to try diving but to many people it might be the right choice to start. If you have already tried scuba diving in the past and enjoyed it or if you are already an avid snorkeler, getting your first certification might be the right choice. The Open Water Diver certification is good for a lifetime and recognized worlwide. It also allow you to dive and explore to a depth of 18 meters. Compared to doing several try dives while traveling it can also be a good invesment in the long run.
