Daily trips trips to Sail Rock
Located about 50 minutes’ drive north from Chaloklum pier this little ‘rock’ sticking 15 meters out of the water is the home of an abundance of marine life and corals. Home to many larger pelagics including chevron barracuda, big schools of mackerel, trevally, batfish, and the seasonal visits of whale sharks are the highlights of this site for many divers.
Sloping down like an island to a maximum depth of 40 meters, with drop-offs, steep walls, its naturally shaped vertical swim-through “The Chimney” and the outer pinnacles, this rock formation is also inhabited by many other species of fish, critters, and a nice variety of corals. From beginners to experienced divers, this site can be dived by all levels of diver qualifications and is also suitable for snorkelers.
Trips are by schedule/demand, weather conditions permitting. There is also a minimum required of participants.
Depart at 8:30 and return around 14:00.
Additional information about our trips
- Breakfast and lunch are included and provided for all our Day Trips. Please inform us of any dietary requests at the time of booking.
- Trip destinations can be changed without prior notice due to weather conditions if there are safety concerns but also if conditions are deemed too bad for enjoyable dives.
