Because we believe that improvement is a constant need and part of a successful dive operator. Our mission is to provide the best diving experience possible and make it easy and trouble-free to access the best dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand. The long history of Lotus Dive Resort has provided us with experience and knowledge in the diving industry. Making it possible for us to refine and evolve our services.
Community and Government Programs
Yearly underwater clean-ups
During the last 10 years, every 11th of August (Queen’s birthday) we organize an underwater cleaning, inviting other dive centers and the local community to be part of it. This was the start of a large amount of programs, including; beach cleanings with the school students, ecology and ecosystems classes for them, community classes for accident prevention and management, a free photographic art-information gallery, a giant clams release and nursing program, and the development of an artificial reef in Chaloklum Bay in cooperation with Project Aware and the local governmental environment department.
Coral planting and propagation
Since May 2018 we have been cooperating with the DMCR (Department of Marine Coast and Research) to make a new project for planting coral in Chaloklum Bay and Haad Jaopao Bay. It started with over 4 months of work with our friends and dive partners from all over Thailand and still going on to this day.
